Probably that works for atheists too. How many people just don't care and if you ask them they say they're atheist just because they're too lazy to try finding if they believe in someOne?

I agree with you: the true christians are a small minority. I suppose Religion is something the modern man just don't care about so it's normal for atheist to increase in percentage.
