I use Wavebirds on my Gamecube and the one thing I miss (and sometimes feel that I am not getting a complete experience in some games) is the lack of rumble.
Given the issues raised when Sony came ou twith the PS3 Sixaxis sans rumble (because of a licensing dispute), I think that there are many traditional gamers who will have an issue with this lack of feedback. I also think they underestimate the retraining that it will require for someone to go from one mode (haptic feedback) to another (no haptic feedback).
Given that there have been all these third-party add-on for the Wii so they look like they are actually playing the sport/activity listed -- I wonder whether people will want faux rackets, clubs, and wheels much more than MS realizes.

I am Mario.I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble. Wii Friend Code: 1624 6601 1126 1492 NNID: Mike_INTV |
