No, even the USA wouldn't impose a clothing norm based on the bible, European countries even less. The West has moved a long way from a lot of Christian regulations AND from traditions as well. And many people have challended and fought for that progress.
So after our society has fought against its own tradition and religion, why do we have to politely step back and allow for someone else's religion and tradition to take over? Yes, the West is still far from equality, there is still discrimination on various fronts, but a lot has been done and a lot is being done. This is one of the reasons why I don't like to compare how Muslim countries do it over there.
When in Rome, do as the Romans do.
When the Romans expand their empire and impose their rules, it's called conquering.
