It's not that hard because you can save anytime. If you played through it once already and know enemies weakness and you take the time to fully research everyone with the camera it's not bad. It was the most fun way to play the game IMO because it forced me to use strategies and really think about using the environment against the enemies instead of just hitting them with the wrench.
