then lets use our infinite knowledge and figure that I will buy final fantasy and he won't.  Now why are we changing this game to fit HIS tastes?  What about the millions who buy and like your games already? 

his way fo thinking makes no f*ing sense.  The way you say it makes it sound like since shooters sell a ton right now EVERY SINGLE GAME should be a shooter now.  NO other genres because they are stupid and pointelss cause they don't sell like shooters.  If he doesn't like JRPG's then he isn't going to spend his money or time playing a jrpg.  meanwhile those who do love jrpg's can spend their money and tiem playing that game. 

So please tell me why we are changing the game to fit his tastes and ignoring my tastes?

You people miss the point. My point point was there is no reason for Mr Oklahoma to not want SE to change final fantasy, because he doesn't like it as it currently exists.

I wasn't saying that he was being realistic, and I wasn't saying that it makes sense for SE to do this.
