I would trade my 360 elite in on a new Slim model if I could only find one to do so.

I will go out on a limb here and say that there will be a continued boost in sales for some time yet. Most of my friends on live want one too and plan on getting one when they get the spare $. Just like the PS3 Slim, don't expect these numbers to slow down in just a few weeks. Microsoft has actually gotten people interested in a 360 again and that is a good thing ( as long as you like 360's ). Kinect will give the 360 a much bigger boost in sales and I do believe that the 360 will have its biggest year to date once the years finished.
