People with half common sense wouldn't preorder a device without even a price yet.

People with full common sense would wait 6 months to a year before buying any consumer electronic device, gaming consoles included. Buying at launch date only opens up your wallet to shell more dollars out for a fix of a manufacturer defect that was not tested for because the execs were pushing it due to the pressure from the board of directors and shareholders to release a product because they had a quarterly bottom line to meet.

are you trying to say kinect was rushed??

anyway on topic I went into game and they already have orders for the move and lots of them, that was'nt advertised either, so any more excuses??

I waited a year to get a 360, 2 years to get the Wii and PS3 and later swapped for a PS3 Slim, sold my 360 at year 3-4 of it's life, and have always had a PC, so I would say it's not about Kinect being rushed or not, but a consumer choice when it comes to purchase dates, I have no reason to shell out money unless it truly justifies and I'm sure there are a lot of people out there that feel the same way as me.

Agreed and also like Killiana said helps save you troubles of defects from first generation equipment.   I got burned by PS1 first generation (overheating) way back in the day which caused me to never trust Sony again.  It is always best to wait till the true bugs/defects are realized by the early adapters.  Just look at all the people complaining about the iphone4...  There are numerous reasons why people should wait but people don't think most of the time.  They have to have the latest thing to make themselves feel cool even though the product hasn't been tested too much yet (real life situation tests).  With most electronics being made in China you can't expect the best quality especially with the first generation of the product.
