http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100622/ap_on_bi_ge/us_mcdonald_s_lawsuit_toys    ------link.  This basically said's that a consumer group in Washington is suing mcdonalds over the toys found in happy meals. They say if unfairly markets unhealthy food to little kids. When asked about it being the parent's resposibility, they said parents get worn down and they don't want to have to say no all the time. What are your thoughts?

This is a load a crap. I hate groups like these would try to make you abide by their rules, or in this case, their own personally parenting guidelines. There case also misses the point completely. When i was under 12, I didnt really care much for the lame plastic toy, but for the actual food I got, which is why I used to ask my parents to go. If they want to change something, their time would be better spent trying to get Mcdonalds to cut down the levels of salt/fat etc in the food.

Bet they probably have the motto (quoting Marge Simpson) 'because this is to my taste, I believe that nobody should be able to enjoy it'.
