My view of this is that Nintendo has brought out a better version of the technology in some ways, the lack of glasses is a definite plus for them as it is one of the more annoying aspects of 3D. Sony doesn't like Nintendo pushing that aspect of their technology because it makes them look bad. I can see why Sony is pissed off, but in my opinion Nintendo is right to be pushing that aspect of their tech.
Glasses certainly annoy the hell out of my, I wear glasses normally and two pairs of glasses is very irritating.
