Bad news for Sony, good News for Nintendo

They had 3d photes back in the 1800s.  This is nothing new.  People don't like having to wear special stuff to see 3D.  Sure it was cool when it came out, and interesting to look at occationally, but unless it works without special equipment (ie: 3ds), few will want it in their living room.
