and not only that...  once you pay out for the new TV and the glasses how much content is there available?

next to none.

How many 3d movies are actually worth watching again?  less than a handful.

how many of those are out now on a 3d blu-ray? none.

how many tv channels are broadcasting 3d regularly right now or soon?  none.

how many 3d games are out right now and will be out within the next 6 months?

Seriously, what is the point of that post. Weren't we having the same post aboout HD, BLU-RAY, DVD, you should know that's always something that happens with new technology.

And 3D is not a Sony product, they are pushing it hard, but you can actually support it.

Its different to the HD, Blu-ray and DVD option though.  I adopted those as soon as I could.

I think I am a good barometer here, I love a gadget, new tech, im a gadget whore... but I am totally unconvinced by this.

It has nothing to do with sony pushing it, and everything to do with Samsung, Sony, Panasonic, Hitachi, Philips and all the other tech companies hoping we fall for this too early and bail them out of a hole they dug for themselves.

I aint biting and I doubt many others will in the next 12 months.

Bring on glassless Tv's and see adoption soar.  But thats a while off.

You really don't do any research for an early adopter, 3D galessless is here, it's just vey expensive. It's coming to the masses as soon as prices comes down. 3D is here to stay just like Blu-ray, that failure (Lol).
