All MMOs get some form of testing. The live environment of thousands of players doing stupid shit simultaneously breaks a surprising large amount of shit. Unless you do huge extensive betas the MMO is going to be bug ridden. The genre simply doesn't have a well developed enough method of testing to replace end users yet, and may never.
