This would be part of my reasoning, though I think you're lying in that you won't stop there; well, you already didn't stop there, but it won't stop with your last post, either.
Regardless, I will reiterate my feeling that this is not an appropriate context for someone who contributes to the site to bring up his grief. It's not my place to say so in reference to policy, but as an action it undermines The Source's journalistic authority in the context of the rest of the team, which is bad.
