^Ah that blows about parents not being able to enjoy isntant streaming. I will call up Netflix today and try and get customer support to note this idea. Not sure if they would have to go back and redo all the instant streams just to get the closed caption option on there or what. If they put the movie up it should have closed caption embedded into the movie you would think (since all movies released have closed caption option). Not too sure but I'll petition to try and get this available through Netflix. It can only help them gain more customers. It also wouldn't take up too much space on their servers considering closed caption doesn't take up that much space at all on disc (usually 3-10 mb at most, not too certain but I am pretty sure).
- Just spoke with Netflix customer support person. Said they are implementing it slowly right now. He said all the Lost season right now have CC option for instant stream. I'll check that out later to make sure it is. Asked if they will have CC logo to show users that is available for that show or movie and he said right now they don't have that since very few have CC option (thinking just Lost seasons have it now). I got into Lost a long time ago (mainly due to ex) but then got out of it around season 4 or 5. Not too sure if your parents care for that tv series. Anyways, it looks like they are getting the ball moving with CC through instant streaming. Perhaps your parents will be able to enjoy instant streaming more in the future.
