How are they going to introduce her later in the 2 movies then? She's a fairly important character. 

During the special. Shyamalan sadi that if they make the 2nd movie, then he is going to find a way to introduce the Kyoshi warriors. The sad part is, he showed some kyoshi footage and they would have stolen the show, if they were in the movie.
