Sony's expansion was greatly tied to expansion in Europe, and the issue of "maturing" gaming comes from them tracking the 1 singular "gaming generation" who were NES kids and SNES adolescents, but then became PlayStation teens and PS2 college kids and now PS360 working professionals.
