I really don't know what people were expecting out of this. How could one be disappointed knowing fully well the history of cartoons to live action adaptations? They just don't work. It's like being shocked that somehow the next big video game adaptation to a film is less than stellar, or the next film adaptation to videogame form sucks eggs. Duh...
Learn to form realistic expectations and you'll all be disappointed far less often.

Uh, dude, a 6% on Rottentomatoes after 71 reviews is not realistic expectations. I wasn't expecting something incredible, but I was expecting something at least mediocre or with a few redeaming features. This is awful. Horrendous. One of the worst blockbusters ever made. Jonah Hex is scored higher.

Really? The closest adaptation to this to use a comparison point, Dragonball: Evolution, has a 13% on RT. The director of this movie has had a steady dip into horrific RT scores, each getting progressively worse(The Village 43%, Lady in the Water 24%, The Happening 18%). So what really makes it seem this wouldn't be a further poop stain in his career and in the world of cartoon adaptations? 6% seems very realistic if you studied RT prior to watching the movie, not to mention there are always scores up prior to release, so you should have known what you were getting yourself into.
