Please.  She didn't get captured until Joker limped his way to the second floor.  By contrast, Thane would've stopped to pray the entire rosary before he started fighting, at which point he would've finally realized that he was already in the stasis pod.

Interestingly I had Thane escort the crew back to the ship (I figured whatever came near them, he'd kill it).
