Even if you didn't see the show, this is a poor movie at best. The plot is horirbly paced, there are plodding and clumsy scenes of 2 minutes of dialog straight while you do nothing but stare at closeups of a character's face, and even the fights, which should have been the one thing not screwed up, were dull and lifeless. This is not, in any way, a competent film. It's just even worse for those who saw the award-winning cartoon because they know what could have been.
