I could be wrong but I think he is the director of the Last Airbender because no major studio would fun another one of his original movies; and if he doesn’t turn it around in the next couple of movies he will (probably) be lucky to direct porn. With that said, The Last Airbender looks pretty decent and could be the start of a comeback. |
From what I understand, Lady in the Water flopped whiched caused Shyamalan to lose his auteur license so major studios refused to work with him on original films
