Like mjk45 said, it has it's drawbacks, the lack of a career mode being one of them. The car dealers stocks changing with time is a pain too, but it can be circumvented.

Since Dealers stay with the same stock for two game days (which change each time you go from a race to the main menu), you can use day one to check the stock, go to a race, and then never exiting to the main menu. Once you win a race (I used the S class race on the Time Trial circuit with a bugatti Veyron, easy 150K credits) and get off the credit scene, just restart the race directly from race menu. That way, the game day won't change, and you can farm enough money for the cars that you want, because when you go back to the main menu, it will only be on the second day.
