First off, don't take it personally. Even if you did feel victimized and that it was a personal attack, it's not. The job market is tough and it's easy to think you "didn't do enough" or "i don't think the job market is for me" (a la sucking up). The fact is, employers mostly look at their own agenda; their employees are a little lower on the priority list.
It's difficult, but like some others said in this thread, you need to get back on the horse with resumes, job agencies and just general networking. In the meantime you should spend some time with friends, exercise, movies, sports, and perhaps some video games you've been meaning to catch up on. Yes, it may take a long time (or not), but the same way we have to deal with 'dicks' in everyday life, the same way we have to deal with unemployment. i had to deal with it for years before i got a below minimum wage job, and eventually worked my way up from there (with more unemployment in between).
