I've never said I expect Sony to take over, it could very well be some other company but right now Sony is it's only competitor. The X360 released a year before the Wii yet the Wii surpassed the X360 in a fairly short period of time.

We'll just have to wait and see but there's no way Nintendo is going to keep the handheld title, if Apple get's serious into gaming then Nintendo should really be afraid of the competition.

The X360 didn't sell like a winning console in its first year. Barely 5 million, the PS2 did that in one region alone (though the X360 did do very well in America, so you can see why the PS3 had no chance at taking it back)

You say "there's no way Nintendo is going to keep the handheld title," but once again, give no reasoning as to why. Is it this whole "nothing lasts forever" deal? For one, that isn't an argument. Two, other companies have lead their own industries for far longer than Nintendo has lead the handheld market, so I don't see the big deal here.

Also, before you go cheering Apple on, keep in mind that there's a chance Sony may take a PSPhone route if they make another handheld. Apple would be their main competitor.
