To all you all you skeptics or fan boy detractors:

In regards to Wipeout HD
Even if you want to call the game a rental program consider that if you rented just one game for just 1 dollar a week it would cost you 64 dollars over the 15 months you get PSN.  Meaning you just saved money.

Not only did you save money there you now get 14 more PSN games, at least 15 minis, and at least 15 PSN titles.

Therefore, all you need for PSN to be a good deal is 3 9.99 PSN games you enjoy, 2 minis 4.99, and 2 5.99 PSONE titles.

That does not include the DLC you get each month, or the 1 hour game demos, early betas, free avatars or anything else.

Furthermore, anything you buy with the discounts is yours to keep.

So your telling me a game you get to keep for 15 months, which by the way is longer than probably half of you keep your games on disc that it is a bad deal?

What do you get for your 49.99 on 360 cross game chat, lost f.m., 1 vs. 100, and soon to be ESPN. The ESPN and cross game chat are nice features not found on PSN. However, if your subscription lapses on XBOX Live you lose access to ESPN, Lost F.M. and most importantly being able to play the multi-player aspect of every online 360 game.

I would say that PSN Plus is a good deal for what you get and if you don't like what is offered at least you get free online access and are not stuck spending 50 bucks a year.
