Well, they don't convert the same to US money. If I'm not mistaken, in Europe, the price of a PS3 is £299 (looking similar to the $299 price in the US). So, it doesn't directly translate to the American price

Amazon US new 360 $299 Amazon UK new 360 £199 apply a rate of $1.50 to the pound and that is pretty much a direct comparison. In fact the UK guys are getting it cheaper as that includes taxes.
