The industry wide gaming press about face likely has more to do with the game being from Harmonix than it does being a Kinect title. Games press adore Harmonix and everything they do, despite the fact they exclusively make casual/crossover games. No it doesn't make any real sense under examination, just accept the inherent hypocrisy and move on.
