Welcome to this week's installment of Flying Get. Last week, Famitsu and Dengeki both got major post-E3 interviews with Square Enix, resulting in big leaks for Versus XIII, Kingdom Hearts, 3rd Birthday and more. Can this week possibly top that?

Probably not. But I'm going to compile all the leaks anyway!

As always, this column contains summaries of the info that leaks out in advance of magazine street dates later this week. The info is in most cases based off the summaries at Game Jouhou, and none of it has been verified.

Check back throughout the day for updates!

What Famitsu Said About White Knight 2 (added 11:32)

Famitsu has given White Knight Chronicles 2 a score of 8, 9, 8 and 8. This is an improvement over the first game, which got -- shock! -- 7s!

The magazine's reviewers said that the game fixes many of the problems from the original. They found the game's map display, chat interface and other interface areas improved, and also appreciated the tremendous volume of content.

Regarding gameplay systems, the reviewers noted that the differences between various weapons have become clearer, adding to strategy. Skills have also seen adjustments. As you might have guessed from the various trailers, the combat tempo has also been upped.

Another Yakuza Game in Development (added 11:22)

It looks like Yakuza has become Toshihiro Nagoshi's Metal Gear. Game Jouhou writes that there's a scoop, presumably in Famitsu, about development having started for a new Yakuza game.

Game Jouhou's blurb doesn't contain further details. I'm going to speculate that this is the next true entry in the Yakuza series, unlike PSP's Black Panther, which is an offshoot.

New fro m Square Enix: Lord of Arcana

Square Enix has has a new PSP game in development. Titled Lord of Arcana, this multiplayer action title is due for 2010 release.

Lord of Arcana is set in Horodean, a world protected by the power of a stone known as the Arcana. You play as a customizable warrior known as a "Slayer" and face off against monsters.

Your quests, playable by up to four via wireless LAN, begin in a village where you'll find shops for customizing your weapons and purchasing items, and even a guild house. Fields of play range from things like caves and deserts. These areas are home to a variety of unique beasts and items.

All this sounds suspiciously like a Monster Hunter clone.

Poogie in the Starring Role?

Monster Hunter mascot character Airu is geting his very own game in PSP's Monster Hunter Diary Airu Poka Poka Village. It looks like he won't be alone. From what I can make of it, Famitsu's table of contents seems to list "Mainichi Poogie" for PC. That would presumably be a game based around Monster Hunter's Poogie character.

The "Mainichi" name suggests a communication title of some form, presumably one where you spend time with Poogie creatures. We'll have to wait for more details to leak out.

Here are some Poogie and Airu plushies.

White Knight Chronicles PSP

It looks like Sony and Level-5 are taking White Knight Chronicles to the small screen. The tentatively named "Shirokishi Monogatari New Project" appears in leaked images of Famitsu's table-of-contents under the PSP section. Shirokishi Monogatari is the Japanese name for White knight Chronicles.
