Nice interview, but I really don't get his comment on the hardcore.  Right now, assuming I'm thinking the same hardcore he is, I just don't see anything to interest them apart from some funky interface capabilities, which when you remove the future tech factor, don't actually add anything - whether you call a command or press a button you're getting the same result.

Without some real games driven need for Kinect for the 360 hardcore I just don't see why - apart from brand loyalty - they'd want to buy Kinect (unless it was cheap enough to be 'why not' which doesn't seem like a foregone conclusion yet).

The whole drive for Kinect, based on E3 and surrounding comments (this was excluded), seems clearly focused on everyone but the hardcore.



Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
