"but Nintendo's is in a whole different league" That's more like an opinion tho...I personally think Sony first party is on a whole different league than both other parties BUT that's a debate for a different thread...so let's not go there And going by your argument they should have been the market leader in every generation they were in the market yes? Not like their first party suddenly came up with killer new IP for the console The NUMBER ONE selling point when Wii came out was the motion controls, simple as that, if not for that they wouldn't have had such a huge gap between them and the HD twins...btw this doesn't mean they couldn't have been number one, it means there wouldn't be such a huge gap We will see if this is true or not if they come out next gen with something unique that outshines the competition....but like I said, for us gamers, more rivalry the better so it's all good |
whether you like Nintendo's first party games better is irrelevent, the market greatly prefers Nintendo's first party games. Could post numbers but everyone knows what it's gonna look like. Sony has several franchises that sell a couple million a piece, Nintendo has many that sell 10 million . That's why they're not in the same league.
currently playing: Skyward Sword, Mario Sunshine, Xenoblade Chronicles X
