It's still not that big of a deal.  It's still a design flaw, but it's not the mountain people are making it out to be.

It happens when you touch a  specific piece of the phone with bare skin which you would typically touch when holding it with your left hand.  There are two very simple fixes for this: 1) put a small piece of tape on the area you're not supposed to touch or 2) put a cover on your iPhone.

Both of those completely eradicate that problem.  Considering I don't know anyone who doesn't use some sort of case for their iPhone, not many people should really even care about this.  For those foolish people that don't use a case, how many of those do you think are left handed and actually hold the thing in their left hand?
