converting my friend to ps3 - warning for ps3 fans only

Graphical "prowess" in PS3 exclusives should never, ever be a reason for choosing a PS3 over another console. The games, not the graphics should be the deciding feature. If he wants to play God of War III because the God of War games are awesome, then that's great.

It's fine that you want to show him why the PS3 is worth getting, but no need to mislead him.

3. I was not just talking about graphical prowess some of the physics and the brilliant gameplay in uncharted 2 and GOW III are showcases for ps3 power.

4. I am not misleading him I am telling him the truth about ps3, I will actually show him what the games look on my ps3 as well so, basically it will be up to him to choose, with hime previously being a ps owner i think he will atleast appreciate the varety reason alone...

3. That's a part of the graphical prowess. The gameplay should be compelling, and should be what you're showing him. Graphics don't matter for shit.

4. Sorry, misleading was probably the wrong expression, but some of the things you wanted to highlight seemed like a bad choice to me. You should be showing compelling gameplay, so I would show games that are unique to the PS3 as well (hack'n'slash and shooting aren't unique). Flower, MAG, Heavy Rain, stuff like that.

re-read my 1st post again where I mention wide variety of games Heavy Rain get's a mention, and trust me I will be showing him this and Uncharted 2, so sorry to dissapoint you.

Also Uncharted 2 is not just a shooter, it is unique in it's own way it's not all run and gun, you actually have to solve  puzzle's and platform as well, also it does have brilliant gameplay, a definitive game to show him without a doubt, IT'S WHY IT GOT SO MANY AWARDS DO YOU WANT TO ARGUE WITH THAT AS WELL??
