I finally got a taste of what  it'd be like to be in a squad with 2-3 good players on the attacking side in a Rush match. I've been playing with the same peeps I often do and we rarely ever end up actually planting the bomb anymore. Not only is just blowing up the m-com stations through damage way easier, but you can get upto about 550 points for the damage alone (not including the 250 for finishing it off). A few things we've been doing:

C4's: This is pretty old and still works insanely good. 6-8'ish C4's will completely destroy a bomb. It's not too hard to sneak into the other team's base and plant a few of them before you're noticed. 6 is the max total you can place, but that number goes up with a 2nd person.

Anti-take mines:  These things are just a bitch. Throw them right next to an m-com and shoot/grenade to detonate. It's about the same damage as C4's exceeeppt....once you've thrown them, they'll stay there untill they've been blown up. That means even after you die.

C4's on UAVs:  This takes some coordination but is probably one of the best ways to take down a bomb. Have one guy control the UAV and the other put some C4's on it. Fly it in and boom. If the UAV doesn't blow up from enemy fire, you can return it and repeat. It's really that simple.

Rockets:  A direct hit from an engineer's RPG or AT4 will always get you 50 when you hit an m-com. It takes about 10'ish total to finish one off. Personally, I think this is where it gets stupid and downright cheap. You can hit bombs from a really far distance and when you're defending, you can't possibly always kill these guys before they get a few rockets off. The AT4 is especially dirty: direct hits from a distance with an RPG take some skill because of the falling arc, but the AT4 has no arc at all - just point your aimer where the bomb is and wait for it to hit. They'll go as far as you can see.The only downside is that you gotta keep your aimer on the bomb so that means no taking cover after firing a rocket, and after doing this a few times, you're gonna want that cover because you'll be on the other team's most-wanted list.

So what do you guys think about this? Are these legitimate or dirty tactics? Like I said, I think it gets pretty stupid when it comes to the rockets. You can be on a team full of awesomely good defenders but at the end of the day, a determined rocket-spammer can easily ruin that.

Still though, me and my friends love doing all of that. You get a ridiculous amount of points and it's pretty much always a guaranteed win, so why not? : p   If you're interested in some BC2 action on ps3, add me:  Parasitic_Link. Attacking side on Rush might be abit broken but I still love this game.
