Sony is a very trusted brand, it actually does make sense. I mean my 53" is a Bravia, my old CRT was a Sony, my stereo is a Sony... yeah I could go on. Its especially true of the likely target market of Readers Digest for whom Sony was the go to brand for high quality electronics in the 80s and 90s.

BTW have you got a new look Dick Smith near you? The refit does look really nice and the store layout is excellent. Im tempted to go back there just to try out all the cool stuff. It makes the Sony Style store look pitiful by comparison that I saw up at Silvia park not more than a few days ago.

In regards to PCs you better be getting a gaming 'capable' PC when you upgrade or there'll be hell to pay.

I think the one on Feathersone Street has had an upgrade but the one in Lyall Bay (closest to my house) hasn't. Haven't really been in for a good squizzy yet. Must go buy a game or something from them soon, gatta spread the game buying love among all the retailers. DSE was the first retailer I saw who had Uncharted 2 for <$100, so they got my money for that game.

http://pricespy.co.nz/ is your best internet tool for cheap games. Just type the name into the search box and voila! You have some of the cheapest retail stores in New Zealand along with feedback as to how good/bad/unreliable they are. If you think you don't need this tool then you need a vuvuzela up your bum!

For instance its showing that the Warehouse has Modnation racers for the PS3 the cheapest amongst all the stores they have at $99. Like how the old yellow pages advertisement went, let your fingers do the walking.
