Really what you are saying is mostly crap.
As for GameStop deal does it really matter if you could get a little more for the 360 on eBay.
90% of the internet that is BS. Actually most of the press particularly mainstream press has had very positive things to say about Kinect. I havent found one negative mainstream press article about Kinect and there have been many. As for gaming press most have been positive as well. Then you have the hardcore fanboys with closed minds. Well that is another story.
Where do you get your information about new 360 S breaking? I have seen rumor of one and who knows the real circumstances. To you that is enough information to say the 360 S is breaking the 360 S is breaking.
As for lag and latency I have seen nothing that was bothersome. Which video by the way was the latency that bothered you so much. So many people have been complaining about lag in Dance Central when you follow the character on the screen not the other way around. In other words no lag, just people looking to find fault.
Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.
