That's a pretty shallow way to look at commitments. Plus you're putting the blame entirely on the female side. A lot of guys do the exact same things, if not worse.
And trust me, long time relationships are far from boring 
When you're with that girl who's funny, intelligent and pretty much the best person you can hang out with, then no day is ever boring.
Thankfully, my GF was also my best friend before we started dating, so we had quite an advantage before doing any commitment.
