Since it is not 2012 you cannot say it will not happen.  For all we know Nomura is correct and FF vs XIII will be the best thing ever.

I reckon the mayans got it messed up the event that will happen is ps3 will be #1 in 2012, lol xD

Which would lead to the world ending.  Thus Nomura is correct (as well as the Mayans).  I wonder if the Mayans had prophecies for Nomura.  Hmm.
