With halo: odst just released last year, I think a lot of people may think halo: reach will be a very short game . I know odst wasn't a real game but be honest, most gamers are uninformed. Most of them don't read gaming news, read gaming magazines, or stuff like that. A lot of gamers make their decision based on what they see when they watch commercials and when they see the box arts. A lot of them won's see a number in the title and they won't think it's a full game.

I know someone that bought GT5:P because he thought it was the full game. That doesn't mean he won't bother with the actual game once it comes out. The same should apply to Halo (and once the game is marketed, there will be no mistaking it is a new game)

2.Halo always sells around 8-10 million range, with quite alot buying it on day 1, but there are a few fans who are upset for unmentionable events happening, so I may be wrong about it it may not even sell as much as I think it will, it also has competition such as COD, that may be hard even for a game like halo

Halo 3 sold 11 million (and counting). What's this unmentionable event happening?

Also, Halo 3 had released alongside CoD: Modern Warfare. I doubt Black Ops will perform as well as that game did, so I'd say it has weaker competition if anything.
