RDR is an exclusive?
Correct. Do you have any other questions?
Since you asked... in what way is it an exclusive, given that it's available on multiplats? Also, just to clarify, how is Smash Bros Melee NOT an exclusive, given that it is only available on gc???
Typically when presented with the issue of exclusivity, the person trying to prove the multiplatform status of a game will point out that it can't be an exclusive, since they can play it on their other choice of platform. Since gaming is a matter of owning the physical property (the copy) far more than it is the intellectual property (the game), this is why the list looks the way it does. I hope this clears things up.

If that were the case, digital distribution would be dead in the water.

DD, while less limiting in certain cases, is still very much bound by the limitation of copies and console ownership. Your ownership is still of the copy of a game, however this copy is merely hard drive space as opposed to a disc. In the end it's still just an Xbox 360 copy of Red Dead Redemption, if you get my drift.
