I bought the Logitech G25 Racing Wheel back in 2006 and it was impressive to say the least (Back Then) However the Logitech G27 Racing Wheel is definitely better although the price is higher. So if you have no money the G25 is still good if you can find it LOL.
LOGITECH G25 RACING WHEEL
Pros
- Dual-motor force-feedback is strong and precise (Makes you feel like you are driving a real car)
- 3-pedal system includes pneumatic brake and separate clutch (Its carpet gripping so it doesn't slide)
- Large 11" diameter leather wrapped wheel feels and drives great (Very comfortable)
- Supports PC, Playstation 2 and Playstation 3 games (Don't know about Xbox 360)
- Incredible build quality obvious with stainless steel, aluminum and leather components (Very good quality)
Cons
- Most expensive of all force-feedback wheels on the market (Its cheaper now but hard to find)
- Brake and clutch pedals a little too close together (If you have BIG feet)
- Some users reporting trouble with reverse gear (Didn't have that problem for me though)
Description
- The 11" leather wrapped wheel feels great in your hands. The wheel features two butterfly shifters and two thumb buttons.
- Wheel features 900 degrees of rotation which is 2 1/2 turns lock-to-lock.
- Shifter switches from 6-speed gated shifter with push-down reverse to a sequential bump-shifter with the turn of a knob.
- Shifter has 8 programmable buttons plus a programmable D-pad. The G25 can do just about anything you need it to.
- Three-pedal unit has pneumatic brake pedal for realistically stiff braking.
Logitech G27 Driving Wheel VS Logitech G25 Driving Wheel
G27 has six wheel-mounted buttons while the G25 has only two
G27 shifter does not have sequential mode like the G25
Helical gears make the G27 slightly smoother and quieter than the G25
G27 features RPM LEDs on the steering wheel
Other than that its the same thing so get the G25 if you are just buying a new wheel since its cheaper.
