Sounds like good news to me!! But I'm still skeptical because less detail could be like the dashboards in the PSP. That would suck.

Of course, because you can compare the processing power of a PSP to render a cockpit cam for 800 cars with the processing power of the PS3 to render a cockpit cam for 800 cars as well.

Not only that, but GT5p already had cars that are far from being "Premium", like the Suzuki Cappuccino which have perfectly normal cockpit cams already.

If the c-64 can do dashboard, so can the PSP.

Wow, you pull out a Test Drive pic XDDD

Funny enough though, that dashboard is probably pushing most of the graphical definition of the game. And that's only for five cars in the same field

In that aspect then I guess the 360 is also to fault. Forza 2 didn't have dashboards as well

And some PC sims like Toca Race Driver 3 are also to fault because they didn't have dashboards as well. Oh my, how the mighty PC has fallen.

Seriously, that's your best argument?

Perhaps you misunderstand me. I am a huge fan of GT as I have played through all of its iterations.  Played through all of the Forza games too but GT is still my favorite by far. The news of GT5 possibly not having dashboard/interior cam was quite a bummer for me because I have grown so fond of the view in GT5p and Forza 3.  All I am trying to say this is good news but I am still skeptical because a less detailed interior view could be a view like the PSP GT. Really has nothing to do with the power of the system. It’s all about the resources and time and if after 6 years of development there is no dashboard view for 80% of the cars I will be disappointed. But, this will not stop me from buying and enjoying the game.
