Been told by my doctor to give up gaming.............

Hmm the last time doctor told me to cut down on gaming because it's bad for my eyes i read 3  books (500 pages each) over the weekend :D

But seriously it's not that bad go to cinema, watch some movies, read books, spend some more time with missus (try to prend you are doing it especially for her and not because doctor told you so:D ).

Win win situation.

 

And if i'm reading it correctly you can still use your right hand for gaming as long as you don't doo anything with left hand ? Maybe it's time for some nice turn based strategy on pc (civilisation IV is cheap on steam and runs on almost any computer)
