This is aftually old news, as far as what was "revealed in this article". But the first few times they mentioned it, it was so badly translated and/or misinterpreted that people started to think they would be stupid enough not to include cockpits for standard cars. And it was indeed an argument that fueled the trolls' arsenal.
Everyone can start breathing again, finally.
