Been playing 3D Dot Game Heroes now for a while, got to the part after the Aqua Temple (with every boss No Damage and Bestiary Entry too).
It's been a pretty amazing game, but Dash Run is one of the worst mini games ever conceived. For one point alone = Utter crap Dash collision detection. I mean, if one of your freaking pixels even touches a part of the scenery, you get instant bumped and stopped.
I just wasted 3 hours trying to get the last race under 60 s. That was almost impossible, and it took me a almost perfect run to go to 58. The problem is that you need to do both records in the first and second race to get a Sword.
F*** that I say >_>

Wait till you find out that you most likely did it for nothing... >.<
|
Really?
Isn't there a trophy for getting all Sword?
|
Well, if you do everything by the book you probably could, but it will require a lot of grinding in Block Defense to collect Small Blocks.
Have you done all the sidequests so far and revisiting From Cave after each dungeon?
|
Yup, to keep on par with the Mecha 3D game right?
Block Defense isn't hard, especially if you use the early stages to evolve to higher levels and use crystals for Bonus Up
|
Yeah the Mecha Game.
If you want to do like 30 extra game of 40 wave Block Defense then go ahead. I may end up doing the same now since I spent most of my blocks already and swords don't carry over.
That means I need to go back and try to beat the 2nd course for Dash Circuit... I hate that mini-game.

Isn't there a faster way to farm blocks?
A crystal slime that I killed early on in the game dropped one.
