Galaxy 2 = 4th full 3D Mario in 14 years

Crack in Time = 6th full R&C in 8 years

 

Also, did you actually play Galaxy 2 or read any reviews on it?  It wasn't exactly lauded for it's originality, only it's superb execution and extreme polish.  Something it's not exactly surprising Insomniac can't match when they're pumping out assembly line sequels every ~15 months (thank god they've finally gone indie and set longer cycles).
