Well, it seems pretty obvious the original plan was to bring over Graces (translation staff is even credited in the JP release!) and possibly even Vesperia PS3 (rumored voice work being done, though that's been questionable). I dunno what went down at Hometek, but unless it's a Dragon Ball game, they seem allergic to RPGs these days. :/ Man, I really wish NOA/NOE would've swooped in and saved Graces. Especially since Zelda's missing this holiday, it'd really help fill out their Q4. |
This is an interesting point. Now that i think about it, with Zelda pushed back to 2011 this is something i feel Nintendo could have done as a sort of backup plan to help improve the lineup for the frosty season, as it is noticeably more mild without The Legend of Zelda to carry the chariot. What other big titles are scheduled for the winter times? I am aware of Donkey Kong Country returns, what's the status of Kirby's Epic Yarn and Xenoblade though? If the latter is due for Q4 then i suppose another big RPG like Tales of Graces isn't needed, otherwise i think Tales of Graces would be perfect for a Christmas release.
