I hope Nintendo buy the rights to the franchise. I imagine if that was the case they'd be a little more sensible with the way the series would be handled. Though i can't help but feel they would treat it a lot like Fire Emblem is treated nowadays.

You mean release every one overseas?  Sign me up...

Well there is that too. But i was thinking more along the lines of the recent game plan Fire Emblem has been using, that is one home console game for the entire generation and a few portable games; which, honestly, i would be totally fine with. Sure beats 3 or 4 Tales games in one year across different platforms released in Japan alone.

Well aren't like the DS FEs remakes or whatever? They barely remake Tales games and the main teams always work on consoles anyway. Although it'd be awesome if they could remake Tales of Destiny 2 and Rebirth and put them on the 3DS and bring them over...

Well the DS Fire Emblem games are remakes, but Nintendo did use the same kind of strategy for the GC and GBA. There was one home console game - Path of Radiance - and three GBA releases. The only difference this time being the handheld games are enhanced remakes instead of brand new entries. I'm quite happy with that though, i'm one of the few who actually approve of remakes. I definitely believe Nintendo would take a similar route if they had the rights to the Tales franchise. I would love re-images of the games we missed to be made for the 3DS or something, because we have missed out on a lot. A compilation of old Tales classics is also something i would really like to see, a Tales of Tales if you will.

How technical is your game?
