There was nothing genuinely threatening to Apple's markets at that expo (although don't be shocked if you see an iphone with glasses free 3D movie playback soon enough).
It's more that Apple fanboy's themselves are gonna have their foot in their mouths, they've been foretelling the death of gaming handhelds for ages at the hands of Apple.
