Yes, Kevin too shows excessive self confidence, but really so excessive it's not possible to not understand it's part of its humour.

People hating Butler so much should check whether their sense of humour is switched off. Or whether they're actually bots.   

Those are real people. Kevin Butler is not. He is a SCRIPTED FICTIONAL CHARACTER SCHEMED UP BY SONY'S MARKETING DEPARTMENT. 

Even if the real people are scripted, at least they're real. You do know that Kevin Butler is a character played by an actor, don't you?

Obviously I know it: just one more reason for not getting mad at him, it's just a show, with its exaggerations.
