while almost anyone would agree with the fact that the list I posted contains little in the way of 'major core, high profile new IPs (which many would claim the last one was probably Pikmin), the fact remains that these are new IPs.
You also discount many of the listed games for pointless reasons such as lack of US release (despite the DS being region free, opening up the possibilities of imports as I did with Daigasso Band Brothers). For example, I live in the U.K where Demon Souls hasn't been released yet and I didn't import it, but that doesn't mean that I exclude it from lists of great PS3 games.
Out of the games I listed and have myself played, I would say that 4 are 'AAA' or 'amazing' or however you want to define very good quality: Jam with the Band, Elite Beat Agents, Hotel Dusk and Wii Sports Resort. I would even put the first two as my favourite music games ever released. While Nintendo are certainly behind in new quality IPs compared to Sony and Microsoft, they are nowhere new as behind as many believe.
