He's objectively, quantifiably wrong, and so are you if you agree with him. Nintendo has gotten mroe hate than any company this gen. If you are of the opinion that people shoud be able to hate on a company without baclash.... well, that's rather one-sided, now innit?

He is not talking about nintendos hardware but it's games. Hence GAMECRITIC-Proof.. Not industry critic Proof. In that aspect I would have to agree. Nintendos games does seem like they get a free ride.

You've got to be off your rocker man, all statements by Tuganuno and Leatherhat have been about the games and the hardware... even then the games don't get a free ride if they did then why the hell did all the people make articles about how the average metacritic score for Wii games being lower than PS3 or 360. There isn't much of a leg to stand on no matter which position you're trying to take with Nintendo not having critics hitting them this gen.

First of all. Are insults allowed on these forums ? Sure it's indirect but regardless. You should be above that if you are a mod.
Second of all, i'm naturally talking about nintendos first-party games. They might have innovative hardware but their games are mostly. In my opinion anyways, the same as they were 10 years ago.
Ofcourse this is in relation to beloved nintendo franchises such as mario and not the line of "wii whatever" since people don't feel nostagia while playing those.
What you have to concider is that it is a possibility that the high ratings come from people getting nostalgia trips from playing the games. You can ask youself if it's fair to base a score on that, but one thing is certain in my mind. Some nintendo games. Get free rides.
Perhaps I should have specified before, but I didn't concider it a necessity.
